Urf. December 12 doesn't seem likely :( Sorry guys.

As far as adding more content to v4.0, I don't plan on that beyond going through the threads for bug reports and fixing what's there.

I was hoping to do a test run before releasing it - I did full test runs for v1.0 and v3.0, and this one really does deserve one too, but I dunno if I'm going to find time for that so soon.

I will try to reserve an hour a night to at least getting a package together that could potentially be beta-tested. -Maybe- I can do that by the 12th. We'll see.

Bummer that scient has disappeared :( He definitely did great work for v4.0, and almost all of it spot-tested quite well.

Don't worry about a test run. You're doing a 1 man show on a very big and complicated game, nobody expects it to be perfect. I don't think people would mind too much if there are still some issues -- in fact they would probably be happy to help you locate them. Just call it v4.0beta and release it. Also, once people find issues they'll post them, which will increase interest in the project. Right now I think people are forgetting about it because there's so little happening in the forum.

Don't worry about deadlines and test-runs. Take your time. I just hope that Scient is ok and that he will suddenly re-emerge with some miraculous dx9 engine tweak...
