Be warned, I will continue torturing people with this until I've finished the game, which doesn't look like it'll be soon.

Of course I'm in. I've been forcefed with cheap IKEA furniture since birth. D:

I just toss people and crap in it, and with time they'll all sink out of sight. But for a time they'll have the spotlight. ^^

Does that mean you want to join the A.I.F.? Check my signature.
I don't know....they've never failed me except for their scary stores the size of Disneyland.

I have to say that reading your playthrough thread is actually much more fun than playing the game itself... maybe because of all the marketing, i was expecting more, especially since i'm not that big on the so-called 'mature themes' which invariably mean sexual violence and people being rude to each other. I've often wondered why.
So, keep it up and keep it witty!

Re: the story: another great couple of entries, Bluenose. I especially like the bit about the Dalish.

Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love
***
And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

Nominations for "DA:O sig quote of the Year" :
Panic moment; apparently people sneaking around after dark are locked in cages in their underwear. I would prefer this not to happen to me.
Someone must have driven him out here to die, as part of a plot to, well, do something. Step One, send cleric out into Wilds to die; Step Two, ?; Step Three, profit!
...Alistair tells him that they're just stragglers and he'd know if a lot were around - which Daveth regards as a good thing since we'll know when we're about to die. He may be joking, in which case he has to stop as there's only capacity for one snarky joker in the party at a time by union rules.
Rather than alienate the most powerful local organisation on behalf of a merchant who isn?t even offering much money, I attempt to find a solution that will let him benefit without annoying everyone else, since I might have reasons to sell or buy things myself and a lynched merchant isn?t much use to me. Morrigan then makes a suggestion. She suggests that the darkspawn will be impressed by what I?ve done, and then her approval drops. Clearly she doesn?t want the darkspawn to be scared of me! Although come to think of it, scared darkspawn are more likely to run away and we don?t get any experience for them that way. That is very clever thinking on her part.
Count me in as a fan!

I have to say that playing the game this way, looking for the absurd interpretation of events and running with it mentally, is a lot of fun. I'm enjoying writing this, so you're going to be subjected to it until I finish or I run out of ways to be silly. Whether you like it or not.
On the subject of "mature themes", I prefer to find the 'mature' in things that actually make me think rather than in pixelated breasts or other body parts and random sprays of blood. Moral dilemmas have so far been in quite short supply, though I've read a few too many spoilers not to know that there are some coming.

Anyway, this malcontent rambling is only a side-note. Because, i've got a solution to the poultice! They're squeezable bottles!

Yes, i think being adult should mean you can face some intellectual and moral problems rather than some pixelated body parts. But hey, i hear RPGs need more realism, and there's nothing more realistic than women of considerable skill, knowledge and power runing around with their clothes off and guys successfully dealing with problems by gutting.
Anyway, this malcontent rambling is only a side-note. Because, i've got a solution to the poultice! They're squeezable bottles!
Now that idea is good enough to steal. And it's not entirely a matter of chance that I'm playing a kleptomaniac elf ninja grey warden. So I have.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.
However, as we all know, Evil never really sleeps.
Sentences marking (my) life:
Winds of change... Endure them, and in Enduring grow Stronger
It takes a fool to look for logic in a man's heart
Never question the sanity of the insane
The Harmony of Life is Chaos
Living on Wings of Dreams
(1st march 2009) SHS women over me:
Kat: if there were more guys that looked like you out here, people's offspring wouldnt be so damn ugly
Noctalys: you are adorable
~~ I love it, and I am humbled! Yay! ~~
