a crash when getting to character creation (where i could import the pregenerated character(s) ). THE crash i may call it by now.
EDIT: i managed to crash ToB start as well after trying to start ToB again. also, i now know that this crashing is kind of random. sometimes i get to create a character and even load the game, watching the intro movie where sarevok throws a brother off the iron throne tower... but with the movie ending the game crashes for sure.

i have found warnings in my baldur.bcs regarding the upgraded familiars. "script name not found: O:Object "fampsd25" " etc.
no other errors though. by now i have uninstalled the prestige class kit mod as i wasnt too impressed with them anyway and the_biggs tweaks as the petrification one gave a warning and this mods content is written to baldur.bcs, too. the game still crashes though.

I found the offender: the BGTTweaks must not be installed before BP... I had them installed directly after BGT.
The game works now. Run, sarevok, run!

PS: I am probably still editing the post above.
PPS: Even though I am a cruel person, I'll never post direct downloading links to you, without warning, unless you'll already see the download counter.
In case the BG2 game crashes, open up the 'baldur.ini' in your game folder, and under the [Program Options] section in the file, make a new line and type in 'Logging On=1' (without the '' quotes, unless the line is already there)... Save the file and exit. Now go back into the game and try to reproduce the crash. Then look in your game folder again for the Baldur.err file and open it with the Notepad to analyze its contents, or let us do it.

Always post the contents of your baldur.err in the case of crashes. I seem to be repeating this like 5 times every time I log on here :P.

That may imply that your familiars will be messed up later for a ToB game. Some of the familiars (CBisson's Familiar Pack) don't have death variables but I can't tell if that is a huge problem or only aesthetic.
