I'm close to releasing a new version of my UI (that will now support all resolutions :whistling: ) and I want to include bigger fonts for all the language versions out there, whether official or unofficial. So, what languages are those ?

EDIT:

The tool for the bigger fonts is ready. link

The New UI will support bigger fonts for the following language versions :

English
French
German
Polish
Spanish
Italian
Hungarian
Russian

Flyer has reported that the Polish fonts also work for the Czech language.

Thanks. So far from the info I've gathered PST has been officially translated to :

English
French
German
Polish

And unofficially to :

Spanish
Italian
Hungarian
Russian
Mandarin
Korean

I don't think I'll giving support to Mandarin and Korean, but everything else will be supported. (hopefully)

Ok, I've made the new fonts , but I want to check if they work with non-English versions. I'd really appreciate it if some people that have non-English versions installed, could test it. You can use it with any installation, modded or not. Simply extract the files in your Torment folder, run the exe and choose your language and desired size.

This tool adds bigger fonts only to the Dialog/Journal windows and to the floating text, so be sure to check them if you install the mod. Read the readme for more detailed info

Grab it here: link

So far I've had reports about the Hungarian version where the fonts work fine and the Polish version where a bug was found, which I have now corrected.

So, anyone else tested them ?

Hi.

Polish version, 40% bigger fonts, fast test - there are missing two letters: "ą" and "ś".

Thanx, great work!

Awesome news!

Hm, it's funny, I just realized I never played Torment in my own language (I'm Polish), just the English one. I imagine you have the English font covered and don't need testers? :P

Hi, russian language dost't work.(

I think I've fixed the problem, can you test it ?

First uninstall the old version and then delete all 3 files (folder, exe and .tp2 file). Then install the new one :

EDIT : deleted.

Dammit. It seems Russian have many different charsets. I'm guessing it's CP1251.

Can you check this one ? With the fonts installed , just put this into the override folder and replace the old one:

Yeah, that's normal, I only gave you the font for the dialog :)

Finally, we found the correct charset. I'll add the correct font to the new version of the UI.

Thanks for your help sez767 !

It's not out yet, I'll release it in a couple of days at most.

For those that want to add only bigger fonts here is the (hopefully) final version :

Good to know, French was the only language I hadn't received feedback yet.
So now the fonts have been tested for all language versions. Thank you all for helping !
