^ This probably needs an explanation unless you've played the Kivan mod by Domi. Highlight for spoilers. --> When you apprehend Rejiek Hidesman, Kivan quips (unintentially, he claims) "You can run, but you cannot *hide*." Heh.
^ Not so far a stretch to imagine that Edgar Allen Poe is Xan's pseudonym...
^ And I'm sure Jaheira and Khalid's sexual...proclivites come as a surprise to no one.
