Austin Powers was a joke character portrayed by Mike Meyers in a movie or two. It was intended as a campy version of a '70s British super-spy adventure film. Think James Bond with a chest toupee. If you think it's funny to hear "shag" every 4.6 secons, you might want to check it out. Otherwise, enjoy some time with your remaining sanity and watch something worthwhile.

Back on topic... well, DA is on hold for me until after DA: Awakenings is out. I'll probalby recruit the guy eventually, but I'm not really on fire to play DA as much as I'm on fire to mod.

No, there's no Austin Powers-type innuendo. He's an interesting guy to have around if you take time to talk to him - he has quite a lot to say about Orlais, Anora and numerous other things. If he survives the final battle (spoiler)

It's funny - lots of people rave over Shale but I'm pretty "meh" about her. And the stampy stamp sound of her feet drives me crazy. She stays in camp for everything but her quest.

I really like her personally, but yeah, opinions differ. You know BioWare succeeded at making interesting companions when not everyone agrees on who's the best.

This is a hard choice, since with the exception of Wynne, I liked everyone to some extent- yes, even Leliana-; but Sten gets my vote, seeing that he has zero so far.
