Romance Frozen?

I first noticed something was wrong during the underdark. When I entered Adalon's chamber, the conversation where Nathaniel says Viconia's trying to corrupt you triggered. I sided with him of course and Viconia broke up with me. Nathaniel had nothing to say to me during the Phaere incident though both Jahiera and Viconia did though. Anyway, I finish the Underdark and am back on the surface but Viconia is still romancing me. So I kick her out just to be sure.

Now, my last official love talk with Nathaniel was the one where he tells about his past with Latimer. I choose the right answers, I think and we ended that conversation on a good note but well it's been quite sometime now and I'm sure the messenger form Avery should have popped up. I'm not running any multi-romance mods.

Can someone help? Can I trigger the messenger myself or am I just screwed?

Oaky, I did some experimenting and I can pinpoint when everything goes insane. I went back to a file I had saved in chapter 2 of the game and waited around. The game got screwy after the same conversation, the one in which Viconia interrupts which "By Shar, you are insistent!" I tell her I enjoy Nathaniel's company more and then the weird starts happening.

Jahiera, Viconia and Aerie immediately get their romance variables set to 1. Note, Aerie is not even in my party but when I checked her variables in shadow keeper, low and behold it was 1. Of course I tried to turn them off by setting it to three. They will not die. Meanwhile, Nathaniel continues to flirt but wont have his next love talk. Even trying to force the trigger with fhterl in create creatures and adding the FHTERLARRIVE line which, for the record did not exist and did nothing once inserted.

I have no clue what's up anymore. Please help.
