hey everyone,

your mod seems to be really nice overall. i want to try it but i have a few questions..

-could someone please post a few recent screens? theres only a handful on the net and these are very old. cities, dungeons, wildernis, whatever you think is worth beeing watched.

-from which games did you take background graphics?

-whats the range of level the mod (up to now) is beeing played with?

its a rather big file and i have to make a new install of bg2 for it, so i first wanted to know a bit more to estimate if its worth the effort ;)

thanks for any help.

The area graphics? There are few areas made by original artists, and a lot of compiled areas from different games, like BG2 - SoA(obviously), Diablo 2, Temple of Elemental Evil, IwD1 and 2, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannon.

The characters start at level 1 and end up about 10-12 levels... so no big god killers yet, and the weapons are from none enchanted to a few +3 weapons(at least if you don't count the Exnem Items you might not wish to install, as they are totally unbalancing ones).

What comes to the screenshots, the CA homepage has most of the outside areas(you can zoom them to close real size), while it doesn't have the inside areas...

Thanks Jarno, a good friend Sanjana, myself, Sir Kill and recently Herd have made a lot of original maps for CA. It is true we have taken some maps from other games but if possible we have tried hard to make an original area. I feel that CA is well worth playing. I think there is a more detailed story the IWD and a lot of playability. (I might be bias because I am the co-creator but I truly feel CA is a lot of fun)The CA team continues to put in a lot of work and CA is one of the few mods to get updated on a regular basis.

Also some from Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader, and Robin Hood ? The Legend of Sherwood.

"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"
