Hello,
Attempting to install RoT under Mac OS X for BGII - SoA/ToB (latest patch) resulted in the following error:
Appending to files column-wise ...
Cannot append column-wise because there are 52 lines in MXSPLPAL.2DA but I was only given 45 things to append
Stopping installation because of error.
Stopping installation because of error.
ERROR Installing [Region Of Terror, v2.1], rolling back to previous state
Will uninstall 35 files for [Setup-RoT.tp2] component 0.
Uninstalled 35 files for [Setup-RoT.tp2] component 0.
ERROR: Failure("cannot append column-wise to MXSPLPAL.2DA")
PLEASE email the file Setup-RoT.DEBUG to Gilgamesh, King Diamond (WeiDU conversion)
Can this be remedied, so I can install and play the mod? I don't know how to recreate the conditions under which the mod installed and played before. This morning, I completely removed the game, then re-installed from discs, applied the ToB patch, then installed some mods to playtest. Here's the weidu.log contents:

I know this is frustrating for you but RoT hasn't had massive errors like this when installing, at least since the last update in 2007. You may get better feedback including these issues in your thread in the Megamod help forum. It seemed you had a little bit more support for Mac and those same people might not visit the RoT site.
Or you could just include cross links to these RoT threads within your main thread rather than having to post things twice. That may give some insight to those people that know your OS and are helping with other questions.
