Watcher's Keep, Level 3, help needed with Demon Wraith

AR 3014 has a Demon Wraith and several unwilling undead minions, and my party gets slaughtered every time I go against them

What are some good, effective strategies for defeating them? For some reason, this is the only encounter in the game that gives me serious grief, even with a high-level party! Sometimes one of my custom NPCs gets killed AND completely removed from the party, and sometimes my main character gets killed.

what mods (if any) do you have installed?
what kind of party are you using?
what level is everyone?

3 questions:

what mods (if any) do you have installed?
what kind of party are you using?
what level is everyone?

Mods installed are: BG2 Fixpack, 1PP (all but potions), TDD, and SoS.

MC is an Elf ranger. Also have an Elf F/M and a Half-Elf F/T (custom characters), Minsc, Aerie, and Mazzy. Character levels average in the upper 20s.

are the slave wraiths magic resistant on your installation? they are on mine, but I have SCSII installed. One of the things I can immediately see in your party configuration is that you lack a strong cleric. One cleric with Blade Barrier/Globe of Blades and a Mace of Disruption can go a long way against the undead.

One of the things I can immediately see in your party configuration is that you lack a strong cleric. One cleric with Blade Barrier/Globe of Blades and a Mace of Disruption can go a long way against the undead.

Good point about the cleric, as that's usually my weak link in a party (unless the MC is a cleric of some sort). I'll keep this in mind for the next go 'round. Not sure if the slave wraiths are resistant or not. The party can hack 'em down, but the Demon Wraith is DEADLY!
