Mass Effect may soon be adding multiplayer gameplay.
A new job listing posted on Electronic Arts' website suggests the franchise will be adding a multiplayer component sometime in the future. The listing calls for someone to take Mass Effect's "existing single player user experiences and make them multiplayer safe."
It should be noted this listing is for BioWare's studio in Montreal, which offered development support for Mass Effect 2. The franchise is primarily developed in Edmonton.
It's possible this could be a multiplayer expansion for Mass Effect 2, or an additional component for Mass Effect 3.

Sounds good to me, but I think it will probably end up being more combat orientated than the base game. I'd take it though, it would be nice to have Team SHS in multiplayer with the people here.
