I definitely have the palace invitation in my inventory. Stupid Bob keeps telling me I don't have it. Anybody know how to fix this or get around it?

You can try using CLUAConsole to move to that area.

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar7208")

As for how to use CLUAConsole, check out this website :)

Hi,

I've just met the same problem (at least, I guess)...
Bill keeps saying that I don't have the invitation because... I don't have it :whistling:
The two f*ck*ng assassins in the undercellar don't have it when I kill them. I had to CLUA the item.

I loaded each creatures in DLTCEP to check their inventory (starting from SLYTHE.00017.CRE ans so on) and the first creature having the invitation (MISC78.ITM) is SLYTHE.00012.CRE

In the same slot (23) SLYTHE.00013.CRE has RNDTRE01 where SLYTHE.00012.CRE has MISC78.ITM

So now, I can't remember how to find the culprit  :
SLYTHE.00012.CRE is still "good" and SLYTHE.00013.CRE is no more : does it mean that "00012: ~SETUP-BP-BALANCER.TP2~ 0 17 // Restore original BG1 creatures' XP and items -> Keep custom items from other Mods" is the culprit ?

It would seem so, yes.
