Thanks. Got all i need Now. Going to to a bit of head scratching hot to install big picture on windows 7 64 bit now. Or would it be better to use windows xp thats built into it?

Well, the Windows 7 x64 has three features you need to avoid, first of all remove the User Account Control, and then the Program Compatibility Assistant, and then install the game into non-Program Files folder... so install it to the "Games" folder. The PCA for example harms the game for example by not allowing the computer to update the BGMain.exe by the games own patch program.

The bigg is right, Vlads net site was hacked by someone, as you can read from this... and you are not talking about that... perhaps because you haven't seen the BD(WeiDU)v1.68 thread... but about a totally different thing.

Few days after that he removed links to his mods and posted an explanation thread, telling that those interested can get a download link from PM.

Two weeks after that, his professional web site was hacked and the downloads pulled again (as per Jarno's post). In the thread, Vlad even asked people to contact the hacker to see if he somehow kept a copy of the deleted files.

Oh for gods sake just finished installing BG,TotSC,SoA and ToB. Windows did patch them. Was pokeing about last night and read somewhere on these forums that i should create a games folder and install them in there. I thought i just had to turn all that stuff off when i was was installing Big picture. Going to restore pc back to before i installed them. Good jub i backed pc up. Wondered what windows meant when it said that the program never worked properly and it did something to the game. lol thank. I'll try again

You can just move the BGII - SoA folder from \Program Files to \Games and alter the paths in baldur.ini accordingly.

Big world keeps trying to download tod even though i have it in downloads. wont use it. I downloaded it from here. Dont know why it wont work

Have you tried to extract .exe from .rar and put that .exe into you BW downloads pool instead of .rar?

yes TOD-v3.3.exe. Keeps saying its missing, and can't download it.

Don't know then - I just recently downloaded Jarno Mikkola's .rar, took .exe out of it and BWSetup understood that .exe just fine.

Hmm, are you sure your file named TOD-v3.3.exe? Because you actually need TOD-v3.3.1.exe.
