I got the faded cloak off noober in naskel. It says that it makes you 75% invisible. I always get seen with it and it does not seem to do anything. I know i got this from a mod. Also the ankheg armour is not in the farm field. I guess the cloak was its replacement?

The cloak does not seem to offer anything though. I get seen by everything.

Which Dark Side version are you playing? The BGT version found here or the BG1 version found at CoM?

Correct, the cloak is a joke item, all it does is make your avatar transparent. In my game I modified it with NearInfinity to give +25% Hide in Shadows.The cloak does not seem to offer anything though. I get seen by everything.
About the Ankheg plate: Randomiser moves it somewhere else, but Hard Times changes it to a broken weapon.

I dont have hardtimes installed but i do have radomiser cheers mate i sold it for 1200gp.
