There's something that bugs me...

from FR wiki:

In order to become a fully-fledged knight of the Order, applicants must have shown exceptional dedication and be of at least forty years of age; younger members join the ranks of the Radiant Heart Auxiliary.

I can imagine Keldorn being over forty, but how can Ajantis and Anomen become full-fledged members of the Order? I've always thought that they're both about 20 years old. Is it mentioned anywhere in the games? Anomen states that he's been working for the Order for years, but as I recall, it's not clear how many years (and considering his tendency to exaggerate... ;))

Did they say they are "fully-fledged knight of the Order", as you can read from your own linked wiki's page, Ajantis:

Ajantis announces that he is a squire-paladin of the Order of the Most Radiant Heart

And should you know, a squire-paladin is far from being a knight... Anomen could actually be just about to be 40, but that goes to speculative, as their birthdays were never mentioned, nor actually so relevant either way.

There are different ranks in the order, so I'd guess that Keldorn is the only full knight among the three. IMO, Ajantis is about 20-22, Anomen a bit older, and Keldorn in his early forties.

Anomen could be older. They did age his portrait somewhat (the original version is included in Unfinished Business).
Keldorn looks at least 50 to me. He does have a youngish child, yes, but my former boss had a child when he was over 40 (and heck, my dad didn't marry my mum until he was 40 either). He probably has a younger wife.

I think Anomen is 26-28 years old and I don't think he's full-fledged either. Keldorn.. I would say 45-50 years old. Perhaps he married late as well??

Yes, Keldorn is married and has two children. I'd say he's about in his mid-50's; Anomen I think would be pushing about 30-35 and Ajantis would be about 22, 23. Why is Anomen that much older? Because he speaks with a lot of wisdom about things, but still lacks the wisdom a Paladin like Keldorn has.

I would put Ajantis in the 22-24 range, Anomen in the 24-26 range, and Keldorn in his early 40s.

Ajantis acts like a young firebrand who has not really seen all that much of life. His rigid fanatacism (and I mean that in the best possible sense) has not been tempered by experience or disappointment. The process of aging will probably mellow him a bit.

Anomen is also youthful, and Keldorn certainly treats him as if he's still a schoolboy, but both of them seem to act as if he's really a bit too old to need this instruction. He does show flashes of wisdom, but he also shows great gulfs of ignorance and prejudice. I adore Anomen, but he is what he is.

I've got an argument for my impression of Keldorn's age here, though there are plenty of people who disagree. Either Maria is still young enough to bear children or Keldorn is woefully confused about biology (he asks Sir William if he intends to father a child with her). Either is possible, but it always seemed to me as if Keldorn and Maria were about the same age. I would expect more deference from a child bride toward her older husband, even if 20 years had passed since they were married, but she treats him with absolute equality of status. To me, that suggests that she's in the 36-42 neighborhood, too, and his contemporary. Though Keldorn must be over 40, by his own admission. I felt it safest never to declare absolutely how old he was.

Ooooh romance mod? :woot:
I could buy Keldorn as around 45. I'm 43 now myself...I don't really like to think of him as younger than I am. <_<

I'd put Keldorn at 50-55 and Ajantis and Anomen at 20-25.
