Can a few people who've actually gotten Worldmap to work satisfactorily on their install post screenshots of what it's actually supposed to look like ingame?

thanks

That image is a collection of pictures taken... so one only sees a small part of that at any given time(should be 1024x786 or something to that effect). That's why there's the white holes.
This is the actual game made picture with the actual interface(the picture was reformatted from a .bmp to .jpg ...):

So yes, the dark area is there on the bigger than 1024x786 interfaces... and no, we cannot, and have not done a thing about that.

Thanks, those are great looking shots... At least I'm fairly certain that it's not working correctly in my install. Any shots of the northern Sword Coast/BG1 areas?

I think I finally got it working correctly. It's breathtakingly beautiful so far; so glad I didn't give up on this.

Well, at least it looked nice... Two installs using the Big World Project both resulted in buggy transition from BG1/totsc portion to SoA portion; the worldmap is completely screwed up. Rather than the Slums being the first and only area you can move to from the Promenade, it's the City Gate, and the travel time is 8 hours to get there.

Are there any known fixes for this?

Which version are you using?
If you are using 8.01 I'd like to you make sure you have the Worldmap mod installed, take the worldmap.wmp from your override folder [1] AND the worldmap.wmp from one of your saved games, zip them up and upload them somewhere so I can have a look.

[1] Unless you have biffed your game, in which case you need to use e.g., NI to export the file.

Actually I'm using version 6, would rather not mess things up further (rest of install seems fine other than a few minor odd things which I always expect from BWP) after having gone through all of BG1/totsc with a no death of protagonist run and start over.

I also have SCS2's "Access Watcher's Keep only in TOB" component installed, as well as G3 Anniversary mod.
