Hello everyone!

This is my first start of a new topic so I hope I'm doing this right.

My problem is as follows...I have 3 computers...well 4 if you count the one I still keep going with windows 95'98...I'm not counting the laptop, but that's not my problem...aaaargh...this is hard. :wall:

I'm trying to do a full install of the following games...BGI,ToSC,BGII-SoA,BGII-ToB,IWD1,IWD-HoW, and last but not least IWD2 on windows 7.
Firstly I did it like it was suggested by Jarno in FAQ for the megamods. But I still got the error message for Roger Wilco telling me it would'nt install because it was 16 bits and it's not supported by 64 bit.

To this I ask...is Roger Wilco neccessary to play without getting bugs or some such?

Then my next problems were with IWD but I will post that there.

I have already installed the patches. Is there an update for Roger Wilco? Can I skip this and just start downloading mods?

Also when I was installing off the disks when the Demos started playing for all the BG 1 & 2's the picture was absolutely lousy. Is this going to happen when the movies play in game?

Ooo, squirells, Boo! I know I saw them! Quick, throw nuts!

You do know the "Roger Wilco" is a Voice over IP application... meaning that the multiplayer game uses it to communicate between user head sets, nothing more... an old one at that even.
This is almost the same kind of thing that the game warns when it's counter cannot detect enough space for a full install, even though you would have 400GB's free space, because it can't count upwards to 3GB... which is just a warning that can be continued from.

What comes to movies and the pictures... if I understood it correctly, the pictures get corrupted/wrong colors when a movie plays, the reason for this is that you probably should use the 32 bit colors, and 3D animations in the 2D & 3D Options, all these are adjusted in in the Graphics portion of the BGConfig.exe . All this goes to IwD & IwDII too.

Cool. :D That means I really don't need it. I thought so, but this stuff makes me a little paranoid.

So it's on to the mods...I think I might try the BWP after all. You only live once. Unless your undead.

Thanks for the help! :)

F.Y.I. When I started it up to make an autosave before I install mods it worked fine and I had done nothing to change it. (? ?)

Also F.Y.I. the trouble with IWD is separate and different and worse. I also posted it in the IWD section.
