I am in Bremen without Wulfgar. I have retrieved Drizzt's scimitars without problems. I have escorted the brother (forgot his name) to Bremen without problems. I had problems with the dragons. Zacare (Zacare1) worked correctly and I got through the mazes, killed the dragons, and got back to the first maze. Zacare did not appear where I think it should (ice wall in path) and I was locked in the maze. To fix this, I used CLUAConsoleCreateCreature to import Zacare3 then Zacare2.

I am now am in the cult dungeon. I am on the second floor. I killed the leader, his henchmen, and all cult members on this floor. I am now trying to get the treasure. There are two doors and two other objects which can be opened. The object on the east can be manipulated and from the sound made, it sounds like a door is opening ans closing. [Mouse position:2505,771--Tile Position:39,12--Search Square:156,64--Area: RA5501]

There is another room that has 11 bricks protruding from the wall and floor. I got them to move by casting Knock on them. [Mouse Position:3334,1633--Tile Position:52,25--Search Square:208,136--Area: RA5501] With 11 bricks and two positions there is a multitude of possible combinations.

Can anyone provide any information on how to open the doors and get the treasure?

Thank you kindly for any help.

Tom

Hey Tom,

I am recalling from memory here about that area and the stones themselves don't really unlock anything. Yes they can be interacted with but are most likely from porting the area from IWD or IWD2, AR6501 whichever game.

In regards to the container, nothing is in it and no references in the script to add items to the container, so I am convinced this also is just from a ported left overs. We see this in the Ice Castle area as well with some inoperable door leading to an empty room.

Most of the scripts in this area are related to the quests for the cult if you were playing an evil path, no loots and treasures though. Currently I am trying to restore some content so I am looking at RoT 1.0 and I will check this area to see if something did get left out but that is wishful thinking.

Sorry you spent so much time trying to figure this out but so did I back in the day. Welcome to the club :)

Hi Hoppy:

Thanks for the fast reply.

I only spent about 4 hours on this and the dragons. I did learn that the Knock spell does some interesting things and a way to leave the dragon lair. So it was not a total waste.

By the way, is William Boyd one of your favorite actors?
