Let's hope that EXE patching mods will work without having to crack the DRM or somesuch.

I was thinking the same, as the exe is no doubt modified somewhat to account for inclusion of a no-cd patch. Publisher with access to source code may have done this, or they could have just ran a no-cd crack themselves and included that binary - i remember it happening with Max Payne 2 on Steam, Rockstar were found out that they used a no-CD crack (http://forums.steamp...d.php?t=1263556) lol

In the gog.com release they applied a no-CD crack, but it didn't alter the .exe structure, only a single JMP instruction, hence exe altering mods worked exactly the same.
