I'm in the the end of Cloakwood 1, and she just got to lv 6 (20,240 ex).
The only big mod that i did was the Secret of Bone Hill (pt 1 only)

Would there not be me, you would probably be wondering about this the rest of your unnatural life. See this is the section for the unmoded BG1 & BG2 game, not a BGT'ed game, and even less for the BWS'ed game.I have the standard version of BWP installed...
Now, in the original BG2 game Imoen was actually at thief level 7 when she had been dualed, so it's not too late.
What I would propose to you if you run into a situation you need to, if you wish to keep the game intact and use the least amount of cheats, is to use the cheats, specifically use the Console to first set the Imoens XP to the Mages level requirement amount, and not go over that, and then use the console to set it back to the original amount minus a few XPs, if you gained them from the reading of scrolls, so you end up with Imoen that has already reclaimed her Thief abilities, but lacks on the XP to gain new levels in a while.

In BG1, you need Disarm Trap 100% and Open Lock 75% before the end.

One doesn't really have to open a single lock or disable traps, you can do without a thief the whole game if you wish so... but if one plans to use Imoen the whole game, and thus bring her as a thief, one should dual her, see the regular thief is really bad at ToB... yes, we are talking about a megamoded BGT game... which this is the wrong forum for, but it's not my fault. If it's your first play, I wouldn't dual class her. It takes too long to regain her thieving abilities. You must either have another thief or perfectly know the game's traps & locks and adjust timing.

Does it mean that you actually keep your heroes in BG2 as they finished BG1?

Kinda yes, if they are in your party and not dead in it, the party is 'transferred' to BGII places with their Class, kit and statistics unaltered. So if you read the Tomes of Wisdom( or whatever it name was) all three with Imoen for example and then keep her at the party to the transfer, so she is in the party when you talk to Belt the final time, and then the BGII's Imoen will have her classes, kit, the Wisdom bonus, XP and hitpoints among other things as they were before the talk(the equipment bonuses excluded). If you drop them out of the party and don't take them back before the talk to Belt, then they'll have their BGII characteristics.I'm ignorant of this aspect, I'm still in "BG1 Vanilla" world.

In basic BGT(-WeiDU v1.10 or later), the NPCs that have this are, Minsc, Imoen, Edwin, Jaheira and Viconia, the BGT Tweakpack adds a few NPCs to this list as it places them to Amn, and there's several mod NPCs that have this too.
