Hi everyone!

I installed baldur's gate trilogy and some other mods using the guide from dsimpson on gamefaqs. I got through and everything is working great EXCEPT the new character i created walks very slow. He is a kensai and after getting imoen she is running circles around him. I stepped through the setup procedure and i've been unable to find anything that sounds like it would cause this. Can anyone help? I tried running with and w/o the BG Walking speed item that was listed as beta.

Thanks!

Here are dsimpsons instructions for reference:
1. Install BG1 & TotSC
Note: To avoid any problems with Windows, I always install in a non-
standard place, such as C:\games\Baldur's Gate\
2. Patch TotSC
3. Install BG2 & ToB
4. Patch ToB
5. Install Oversight
6. Install BG2 Fixpack (MUST be installed before BGT)
7. Install Ascension (MUST be installed before BGT)
8. Install Turnabout
9. Install BGT
10. Install bg1npc
11. Install BG1UB
12. Install Unfinished Business
13. Install BG2 Tweaks (do not install faster cutscenes and dreams)
14. Install Widescreen

Every character will have a slightly different speed stat, which I think you can check in the info/stat section. I know it is related to one of your primary stats and I believe it is Dexterity, you can use ShadowKeeper to change this if you want, but I would recommend either starting a new char and playing around with your base stats until you are satisfied with your overall character, remember thought that if you over emphasize one stat over another other issues will arise. Alternately you can play your character and wait until you find various items that incraese your speed or your dexterity. Imoen has a high base dexterity and will more then likely be faster regardless. So it isnt really a bug but how you built your PC

Hey thanks for the feedback. I figured it was something like that. I don't really want to rebuild my character, what I want is to turn of the feature. Do you know which mod added it?

Have not come across any mods that disable that, if you get Shadowkeeper you can alter your speed stat, and if you chenge your framerate in the configuration to about 35 it will speed everything up, but I would suggest Shadowkeeper instead, as upping the framerate will only make things faster, not just your PC.

Thanks again, I'll check it out.
