[What is the Matrix?]

Hello all.

I was making a spell (BG2) which is supposed to be activated by a sword, once every successful hit is made.
It is supposed to explode a green flame.... like the Green Dragon Breath in TOB.... but when I used the
Projectile for that (Projectile animation 272-DRAGGREE)... it just gives out a small splash on a target. Not a whole area explosion.
Why is that? I really need that green flame.

I tried to check how it works using DLTCEP but OMG that was complicated. Hahahahahaha
Can someone please help? And/or give me a link to a tutorial on projectile making/editing
with DLTCEP? As always, I am grateful for your assisstance.

I've checked through the links and there's nothing that I can really find about editing .PRO files.
Maybe there is in the gibberlings 3 forum but I was unable to open it for some strange reason
Chrome won't find them.

And about your question: Why yes! Hahaha that's me for sure!! Although I've left that forum years
ago (was too busy with school work), I did post up that question. It was back in my days when I was a beginner in making items, and
it was for items for BG1. But yup - that's me allright!

Dude, BIG thanks for that most AWESOME spell guide!! That made my day - literally!!! And EASES a whole lot of wondering on my part! hahahaha Concidering I am picking certain spells for certain items!



EDIT: I solved it!!! By accident too. Haha! The problem was in the projectile file... There are two for the dragon breath, one which is 272-DRAGGREE and 273-GREEHIT. If you use the 272th, not much will happen, except that you see a sprinkle of effects which do NOTHING. The second one however - the 273th - does all the job. And it looks marbelous as well. The 272th COULD be used to simulate the Dragon's Breath itself, hence it doesn't do that much than sprinkles the green flame effect in the direction of the user. But all in all - this problem is solved, and now I am off to finish my items!

PS: Oh and I still don't know how to mark this topic as solved. How do I do that? LOL
