Alas, new game cannot help. Khalid has nothing to say to you, and his dialogue didn't start. Only PC and Jaheira were in party. Does my save help?

Senka - I'm sorry you're having problems. I created Khalid on an install with a lot of other mods and detected no incompatibilities...

Zireael, I tried to join Khalid using ctrl-Q. Well, I reseived khown bug: he did two steps and stand. It occure when NPC wants to say smth but cannot. And ctrl-J doesn't work for him, it's very strange.
I tried to find joining script, but couldn't.
And... description of his kit (harper fighter) is in Polish :)
I can re-install all my mods, remove RR for example, and see what change...

A (presumably Polish) person left me a message on CoB saying they liked the mod.

It is very possible there is something that clashes with Khalid in your install. Maybe try installing Khalid on a clean Baldur's Gate II and tell me if it works? Then you could install other mods one by one, this way we could ferret out the thing that is stirring up trouble.

Weird. We tested it and the description was in English. You sure have a knack for finding bugs...
Why don't you try Khalid on a clean install? We'll see if it goes back to normal (i.e. English)...

This is not be so fast because I need time for reinstall and play. A reinstall BG2, install Khalid only and received the same bug: he did not see PC and say nothing. I have save just before entering HH and can send it to you.

Add 2 saves: before entering HH and just near Khalid.

So I started a new game and installed Khalid.
I just passed Chateau Irenicus, but there was already a problem with the first cutscene :
When approaching of the corpse on the tables, the cutscene triggered and played alright, but the problem was that the dialogues was completely wrong.
Khalid asked a shadow thief about Imoen, calling him red wizard, and the thief answered as khalid was a druid and it was none of his businnes.
I assume of course that it normally was a dialogue between Jaheira and Edwin :P

Thing is : all my game and mods are in French, only your mod is in English, and the dialogue was in English, meaning it's mod content...
Do you need my weidu.log or something ?

(Just so I know : what should normally be said during this scene ?)

Well I had exactly the same bug you had :/
He had nothing to say to me.
I try to ctrl+Q him, and I had a stutter bug too (he can't do two steps without stopping)

I thought I had fixed the cut-scene....

I'll try to fix the scene today, then I'll look into your save.

EDIT: The .tra files for the cutscene are where they should be. There is nothing wrong with your save either - Khalid talks to me normally.

I'll try to pin the bug today. I think it's something with the English translation, but I do not understand why the Polish one should work fine and the English not... I've had a weird situation where Khalid talks to me in Polish even though I'd chosen English as the language...

Zireael, it seems to me that smth wrong with dialogues address in english version... They don't go their right pass possibly.

I've had a weird situation where Khalid talks to me in Polish even though I'd chosen English as the language...

Did you install English version or Polish from the very beginning? This is smth wrong with English installation I believe.
