Hi guys,

I'm a long time player of the Baldur's Gate series but wanted to try something different. I'm having a lot of difficulty installing the 'big world' mod. My problem stems from the 'missing files' in the override folder. When I attempt to copy the missing files from my TOTSC CD, they aren't there. I've scoured the internet in search of a place to download the missing files but have drawn a blank. I was hoping someone here with more experience than myself could help me out.

Are you sure you are not missing area files? When I do a full install from BG1 (not the TOTSC disk), a handfull of area files are not copies from the CD. After the full install, I open each CD and just copy over all the areas. I believe BWP moves the BG1 files (area plus override) into the BG2 override as part of the conversion, so maybe the missing files in override is because these area files where not copied from the CD.

The missing TotSC files might be inside this mod, the direct English download, that needs to be installed to the patched BG1+TotSC game, before you install the BGT. The files are missing because they were removed partially by the latest BG TotSC patch.
