Basically, I need a way to root my character's REP firmly in place, at 6, so that nothing can budge it. Can it be done, and if so, what knobs and buttons (2DA.files or whatever) do I have to push (edit)?

It's the only way I can think of to defeat the damn 'Fallen' variable that kicks in when a Paladin or Ranger drops in rep - and I want to defeat it very, very much. Oh yes.

Open handedly, I'm not really sure. Several things though;

1) Please don't double post, I've deleted the ones in the tech forum and moved this here.
2) Editing what you are after doesn't seem in the spirit of RPG to me!

:blink: :D

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

Um, yes it can be done but isn't a paladin commiting an action that causes his fallen status by definition a fallen paladin?

anyway, in script

IF
!Reputation(Myself,6)
THEN
RESPONSE #100
ReputationSet(6)
END

Might need some "" in there, not sure.

That won't quite work, since once your rep has dropped, you're fallen and it's too late for the script to reset it. Use a RegainPaladinHood() action, and this will return paladin status if necessary and automatically set reputation to the minimum for a non-fallen paladin.

I heard you regained your Ranger status after completing your stronghold quest, even if you're fallen. Is that true?
Wondering where's the old Interplay community? Well, they're all at Ashford City!

Use a RegainPaladinHood() action,

:blink: (smacks myself in head) Right, I should have known that, I have ActionOverride(Player1,RegainPaladinhood()) in my ILTHAJ.dlg after rescue/join. :)
Danke.
