cant find this quest.. it didnt activate when i was doing mage stronghold quests. talked to nearly every one in Athkatla please help

Hi,

Speak to a mage in government district (in the main hall) close to the inspector Breg??? or something like that.

I've been having the same problem - I've started the Mage Stronghold quests with assigning my apprentices items to make, but speaking to the mage near Insp. Brega resulted in him only saying one of his normal two lines ("Give us a kiss"). How far do you have to go in the Mage Stronghold quests before this quest starts?

i think (if i remember well) that it is too early ! finish the stronghold quest before talking to him should do the trick.
