I need animation of several natural hazards which are summoned by certain elemental spells.
2. Describe the item/whatever in detail! Shape, style, colors...?
I need an animation of following:
- A big falling boulder of brown/dark brown earth which shapes above target, falls on target and shatters into several earth/rock pieces. (A la Secret of Mana 2/Seiken Densetsu 3 style)
- A big and sharp cone of brown/dark brown earth that emits from the ground, and disappears after it reached it max peak (just like Stoneskin animation)
- Huge cone of Ice which emits from the ground and pierces its target and disappears. Glacier looking in color.
- Just as above, though the ice cone will shape above the target, fall, and shatter into ice pieces - which slowly disappear (to simulate melting of ice)
- One cone of ice (smaller than the big one) which is sorrounded by smaller icicles - rise to pierce their target. Just like the spell from Secret of Mana 2/Seiken Densetsu 3.
3. Does it have bonus factors? (+1 thac0 - +5 thac0)
Not necessary. It's just an animation. Though the spell effects in-game may give thac0 penalty - especially the ice effect one.
4. What about elemental damage? (Acid, Fire, Ice...)
For Earth spells, it will be crushing damage.
For Ice spells, it will be ice and piercing.
5. What material is the item made of?
Earth - earth, rock
Ice - ice crystals, icicles
6. Any deadlines?
I would like to have this within 2-3 weeks from now, so I can finish a BETA of my mod.
7. What game and what mod is this for?
Familiar Evolution MOD for Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn/Throne of Bhaal. I haven't made it public just yet.
8. Anything else you'd like to mention?
If you can make the animations realistic, all the better. For the ice, if you can make sparkles and a blueish/cyan glow for the ice crystals/icicles etc to give it more shine, it would be very much appriciated. If you need a base to work on, I have Secret of Mana 2 sprite sheet of some of them, which I can send. I don't know how to work with sprite sheets, but I thought it may help out in making things easier for whoever wishes to help me finish my mod.
