...I downloaded and read the readme and I'm STILL not positive whether it actually adds additional colours for you to pick during character creation ("right out of the box," so to speak) or if it only allows me to set up my own palettes for random use in the game's NPCs. My computer is in the shop so I'm not able to test it directly...been trying to get a working list of mods I want in the meantime. :)

Any help would be appreciated!

I'll take a guess and say that it makes additional available the colors within an editor, but not from the front end program (the colors you select for your character when rolling). It is an exe hack btw.

So far I couldn't detect any additional colours for use by installing this mod, so Roboghost was probably right.
Now, if I intend to add colours for use on my PC and joinable-NPCs (skin, hair, clothes), can this be achieved using this modification and if so, do I simply have to edit the MPAL256 and MPALETTE files? Do I have to perform this step before or after installing the mod?
Finally, since it edits the baldur.exe, what about installation order and compatibility?

Thanks for any help and I just hope I didn't completely misunderstand the intention of this component.
