I'm stuck in what seems like an exitless mausoleum, originally accessed via a portal near to the entrance to the buried village. The mausoleum is small, containing some skeleton you fight, a tomb containing jewellery, a brazier (description but can't be used) and a body.
The passage at the top simply gives a description that its a short passage that ends.
I've pixel-hunted around the edge of the tomb, but cant' find a way out. Help!

That seems like the restored Candlestick quest. The exit portal requires having a purse in your inventory to activate, which you should have gotten when you got the entrance portal's location in the first place. If you do have it, move TNO to the right side of the tomb to activate it.
