Basically what BDash tried to achieve but without the annoying part

I don"t have many ideas on how to implement that right now but in my mind it would involve 2-3 short side-quests following the slavers quest in the slums, likely started with Hendak, that lead to guarded compound. Then the BDash way with stone and letter loot are enough clues.

I've also read some stuff about Rejiek the tanner being related to them (actually making the armor for a member of the TR)? Maybe the guy you're supposed to find in Umar Hills could yield some info too, whether you choose to confront him or work with him. I think he actually gives a vague line about his masters? Or else meddle with second meeting with Rejiek in Trademeet?

If someone with modding knowledge is interested for the task it would be a great addition and give it a better feel. Back then it wasn't until my 3rd or 4th playthrough with the official guide (internet wut?) that I discovered all this, and it wasn't with Nalia; just entering the areas because the guide mentionned them (the loots!).

All ideas welcome about how to link from Hendak to compound. I'm thinking maybe he had a stay there a while ago before being sold to Lehtinan, he only remembers about it after some timer or xp threshold and sends a messenger; that's just a basic idea for shortest link but I wish it's be more than that. ^^


Thoughts? Already been made/tried?

I'm not really sure what your spoiler is referring to...

In the early days of BG gaming there was alot of discussion & theories about The Twisted Rune Conspiracy. There's always room for other mods to give other perspectives.

I think you were referring to Arnel's Nalia Romance mod. No laws against borrowing ideas from there and going your own way with a mod.

AFAIK the only way to get a hint about the compound is to take Nalia in your party long enough for her plot with the Roenals to develop until the end. I don't have the details but it involves a npc called Officer Dirth or something who gives you a hint about a slaver facility located in the temple district.
Kinda makes Nalia the most rewarding NPC to pick when coupled with the TR component from BDash. No Celestial Fury or Staff of the Magi for you if you don't visit every building around with no reason (meta-gaming etc..).

EDIT : As I thought it was planned for UB at some point (many other nice things too, link). Last version is from may 2010, no major forum posts from its devs since, I wonder what's the status on this mod
