So, guys, we just found a big ol' bug in v1 of the portrait mod installer, so I'm putting it here for public consumption. It'll be dealt with one way or the other in v2, but in case you use it now:

Chosing the option "install to Portraits folder only" will override your installed mod portraits anyway. It won't overwrite the original mod portraits, but apparently the portrait folder has a higher override hierarchy than the override folder itself, so your original images will get bumped out if you do this batch install choice anyway.

In other words, if you want to keep certain original mod portraits, use the "ask about every component" option rather than the batch installer for the time being.

Also, if you try to use v1 Suna Seni, you will have to manually copy her to your portrait folder to get her to show up properly. This will also be dealt with in v2!

Yes, the portraits folder is checked before override, which is partly why I store all game portraits in that folder. The other reason is to try to keep override bloat to a minimum. If identically named portraits exist in both the portraits folder and the override folder, I expect the game will read what's in portraits, and ignore what's in override, which would make it safe to store previous versions of portraits in there as a back-up. Can anyone confirm?

Yep that's right. In the case of v1, as far as I know, Suna Seni is the only "special case" as UB installs her portrait by default to the portrait directory.
