Maybe this sort of script/mod/whatever already exists, but I sure haven't seen it.

What do I mean? The one good thing that IWD2 brought with it was the ability to for example, swap between dual wielding and a bow. I've always wanted this feature in BG2, but alas.. I know of no such thing!

But it would be awesome if some scriptwizard could make me able to quickslot dual wielding and bow/twohander. Or.. just make some thingy that makes me equip favorite off-hander when i equip my chosen main hand weapon.. Make it go seamlessly between dual wieldig(or shield) and a twohanded weapon.

Yes, I know it's no problem to drop into inventory to do this.. but I like to keep the combat flowing at all times, never pause, never enter inventory, just survive as best I can at 45fps without any tactical pauses.

And well.. it just feels strange and really cramps my game when i for example wanna make a dual wielding fighter/thief and at the same time be able to swiftly grab my ranged weapon for disposing pesky goblins etc etc..

If something like this already exists feel free to slap me with a goblins leg and just tell me where to get it! ^^

(Yes, I've been around for years lurking these forums and using the BWP installer and such.. I'm just really quiet..most of the time. Keep up the awesome work you moddy people, I love you all for making Bg2 so much greater and exiting than newly released games!)

Short answer: Can't be done.
Long answer: It can not be done.
Non-facetious answer: Scripted inventory management in BG2 is grossly deficient, even when the attempt does not crash your game or cause items to disappear.

Why would anyone adjust the frame rate to a value other than 30 fps?

Working and playing on a Mac Pro 6,1 running Mac OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, and a Mac Pro 3,1 running Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.

- Erysseril Gwaethorien: a joinable, romanceable NPC mod for BGII - SoA/ToB, in sporadic development.

A female elf warrior of nature and a Bhaalspawn cross paths during their quests, joining forces to share adventure and companionship. Will they find more?

Can't be done, huh? That's a shame.. a big stinkin' shame. Ah well.. will have to survive without!

And I tune the fps up to 45 because 30 feels so slow.. Walking across a big area at 30 fps takes too long!
