Check the BGT docs or devdoc. If it uses it and doesn't mention any special licensing, there probably isn't any. Whoever actually coded it is probably long gone.

Ah... checked the comments in the .cpp file. Looks like it was KingDiamond who wrote it originally. I'm not sure who did the updated code to make it compile on PPC Macs...
