so i've been trying to install Icewind Gate 2 and i'm stuck. when i run the exe, it tells me i have the wrong file path and i feel like i've tried everything. obviously not, but still

i have tried both ways, soa being the source and the target. visa versa

it still tells me unspecified path. how is this wrong? thats exactly where the game directory is. like i said, dumb question, dumber poster.

help would be greatly appreciated

i've never done this, and i'm sure this is obvious to everyone except me.

i just wanna play some icewind gate. i feel like i'm being punished

may not solve your problem, but installing & subsequently modifying the game while installed to Program Files or Program Files (x86) is known to cause all kinds of problems. Try it with the games in other locations, such as c:\games or something

i appreciate the response. i got it to work(kind of). i have an endless cut scene which i cant seem to get out of. it keeps replaying over and over.

gonna uninstall everything and reinstall outside of program files like you suggested. i appreciate the help. lets see if it helps!
