This is new to me and searching has not led me to a solution.

I am in Ust Natha and just finished with Jarlaxle. I just noticed that all the characters stats have changed. For example (without any equipment):

Jaheira....Normal.....Current

STR........15.............13
DEX........17.............15
CON.......17............. 9
INT.........10.............10
WIS........14.............14
CHA.......15.............15

Imoen.....Normal.....Current

STR........ 9.............13
DEX........18.............15
CON.......16............. 9
INT.........17.............17
WIS........11.............11
CHA.......16.............16

Each of the characters in slots 1, 2, and 3 has STR=15, DEX=18, and CON=9.
Each of the characters in slots 4, 5, and 6 has STR=13, DEX=15, and CON=9.

All stats for INT, WIS, and CHA remain the same as they were originally and are white in color.
All stats for STR, DEX, and CON Are changed and are red in color.

No one can cast spells of any kind. Previously spell casting was allowed.
If the party leaves Ust Natha and goes into the Underdark, the stats stay mess up.
If I use "MoveToArea" and go outside the Underdark, the stats stay mess up.
Opening a save game with messed up stats in Shadowkeeper gives the correct player stats.
Moving Imoen from position 6 to position 2 does not change the messed up stats.
Resting 48 hours does not change anything.

Any suggestions? Is this a bug? Is this something in the game? Is there a fix?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

It will happen again when you suffer Drow transformation from Adalon btw in regular game underdark quest line, same spell effect.

Thanks for the reply.

I do not understand what you are saying in your first post. Is that a change I need to make? Is that the cause of the problem which cannot be fixed?. I have a saved game which takes me back to leaving Brynnlaw. If there is no fix, I will replay from that game and try to pinpoint exactly where it occurs.

In your game files, in ToBEx_ini folder, open TobExCore.ini, under [Effect Opcodes] you will see the line Use EFF File Fix=1 (it should be one of the last lines under [Effect Opcodes], they're listed in alphabetical order), change 1 to 0, save and quit. Fixed.

You can reverse that change when the drow transformation is over.

Also the difference in stats you see between characters is likely related to gender rather than party slot
