I'm happy to announce that Kivan/Saerileth incompability with RE component "The Queen, by Domi" has been fixed by Kulyok when she updated RE to v9.

 

Now only TDD and Ninde problem remains but there's 10th guide to workaround here.

Is there any way to fix this besides updating to RE v9 or switching the install order?  I just recently completed my (manual) game install, Kivan is mod #30 of 99, RE is #55 of 99, and I applied Generalized Biffing toward the end... I really don't think my game can survive a Weidu reinstall or uninstall of RE.

 

Can I just edit something in NI to make the RE Ellesime dialog never fire? 

 

Or: there is a "SUELLE2.dlg" in the "RE/backup/43/" folder.  If I pull that out and drop it in the override folder, would the game skip the REv8 dialog and let me continue?

Actually switching install order doesn't fix this, only updating RE v9 fixes this.

 

Tempted to says re-install.

 

You can bypass RE Ellesime dialogue by:

SetGlobal("RE_Suelle2Interject2","GLOBAL",1)

Type that to CLUAConsole or you can use NI, Shadowkeeper, EEKeeper to set "RE_Suelle2Interject2" global to "1".

 

Update:

That RE Ellesime "thing" is for MALEs so changing CHARNAMEs gender to FEMALE helps, use spell or Girdle of Gender.

I have hacked and slashed and done god knows what else but I have 'theoretically' given some kind of logic to the entire TDD-Ninde conundrum

 

Someone please test this out in-game! Before installing both TDD and Ninde, do this:

 

In the setup-TDD.tp2, comment out line:

COPY + ~TDD/D_TOB/mSUELLE2.D~ ~DLGCASH~

 

And then overwrite ninde\dialogue\lk#nindj.d with the attached file.

 

You need BOTH changes for it to work properly. I have gone through NearInfinity and the dialogue seems to progress normally now (hence the 'theoretically') but please someone test this out!
