Hello everyone, I've been playing my version of the BWP again, and I installed the exact same mods on a friends computer -- we're both running spot for spot identical copies. My question however, was getting it to work on gameranger so we can play together. Has anyone had any experience attempting/trying this? I launch the game from the lobby, and we both launch, however if he hosts he cannot find the game, and visa versa.

Are there any special things we need to consider? Appreciate the help, guys!

Ha, not true, why ? Cause there's several mods that randomize stuff. Which could cause trouble. Other than copy pasting the game from one drive to another(or using a USB device in the middle) there's really no likelihood of making two exact installs.

Now, I have no idea if this could cause something, but there's always the possibility.
The other is of course the Windows being an idiot and restricting your network connections.

I didn't mean completely identical, I just wanted to drive home the "at every prompt, I applied the same decisions, used  the same versions of mods, etc etc". Also it was 4:30 in the morning when I posted that, and I was pretty tired. I'm going to fiddle with ports tonight.

Do you happen to know if when using gameranger, BG's old ports need to be opened?
