Hi all,

One thing that always buggered me in BP is the undocumented change for Grand Mastery.

While it exists mainly two rulesets for grand mastery (BG1/IWD/P&P rules, and BG2 (nerfed) rules), BP introduces a new variant.

In fact, with BP installed, you seem to get the BG2 grand mastery when it comes to To Hit bonus and damage. But with BP, you will get one additional half attack for every proficiency point after the first.

For * and **, the three rulesets give exactly the same benefits.

But with BP, *** gives the BG2 bonus but +1 attack. For ****, +1,5 attack and for *****, +2 attacks, which is more than the BG1 grand mastery (only +1,5 attack).

I believe that this should be removed from main component (at least) and either removed at all or integrated in its own component, so players has the option to choose their grand mastery ruleset.

The change is in the BP core component, in either BPv180c or BPv181 alpha (november 2012 release).
