After having made a BWP install I have a small number of mods returning errors. I believe
I can point to the Big World Install for some off them and for others it must be the mod itself. Or perhaps something else.
I'll post a short description of the problems, and attach the debugs, just in case anyone have seen some of theese things before.

1PP

From the debug it looks like the BIG World Installer cannot choose the correct answer:

SETTING 3: ARMOUR ITEM ICONS
This sets the standard appearance of armour inventory icons in the game. Does not necessarily affect magical items or prevent you from finding other items. 'Standard' options marked with [default]

1. 1ppv4 style [default]
2. Baldur's Gate I style
3. Baldur's Gate II style
4. Skip this part of the install

PLEASE ENTER  1,2,3 OR 4
User answer: "1"

SETTING 3B: SCATTER ARMOUR THROUGHOUT GAME
This determines whether the available alternates are scattered throughout the game world (in the form of new items, random finds, etc.) for you to find or not. 'Standard' option marked with [default]

1. Yes [default]
2. No

PLEASE ENTER  1 OR 2

ERROR Installing [1ppv4: Core updates and item patches], rolling back to previous state

Widescreen Mod

Same goes here. I'm pretty sure I punched in the right numbers at the right time. I've checked with a stand-alone install
of the mod, at it installed fine, only asking for x/y coordinates once.

Enter your X coordinate. It should be a number, >= 640 (but not 641).
User answer: "1920 "
[./override/ar7200.are] loaded, 31872 bytes
[./override/ar6111.are] loaded, 2776 bytes

Enter your X coordinate. It should be a number, >= 640 (but not 641).
User answer: "1080 "
[./override/ar7200.are] loaded, 31872 bytes
[./override/ar6111.are] loaded, 2776 bytes

Enter your X coordinate. It should be a number, >= 640 (but not 641).
User answer: "Y "

ERROR Installing [for the original Infinity Engine (CHOOSE THIS!)], rolling back to previous state

As a sidenote the installer tells me the Widescreen Mod is v.3.02 while it in the readme says 3.05.

Butchery

Asks for files from SCSII, even though the BIG World Installer has found SCSII

Mal Des Vampirismus

[pcvamp/DLG/pcvamp.d] LEXER ERROR at line 80 column 1-0
                         Near Text: *
                      invalid character [*]

I've checked the .d in my BG2 folder, and there's a star and a forward slash: */
But when checking the original file in my "BWP-dummy"-folder, there's nothing, so I assume this is casued by the BWP Install Pack.

Haendlermod

A line in nq#rbad6.baf says "DisplayStringHead(Myself,@0)" and Weidu returns the string as "not_found".

This is casued by the BWP translating the '@0' from the original files german string: %Tötet sie!%

Item Revisions

"Unknown macro: update_item_descriptions"

I'll be mailing this to the mods author.

Oh, and the installer failed to detect Ascension (Not listed as either found or missing) and BP, and told me it had found SCS and that it could not detect SCS.. What could cause that?
I've downloaded all the mods in the versions indicated by the BWP Install Guide.

I'm not sure, if there're other mods that the isntaller hasn't recognized, so I'm working on a detailed list of recognized mods.

Last question is: How do I get the installer to see the mods it misses as of now?

I have installed these mods several times without those errors. Unfortunately the most important Big World Debug.txt is missing so I cannot say what's going wrong.

However your path in the baldur.ini is strange:

Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\English\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD1\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD2\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\English\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD2\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\English\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD3\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\English\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD4\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD5\]

It should be:

Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD1\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD2\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD3\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD4\]
Possible HD/CD Path: [D:\Spil\Baldurs Gate II\CD5\]

Have you renamed your main folder or copied it from one location to another? That probably should be the reason for the missing content.

Regarding 1PP: You obviously have added components to 1PP without changing the input.txt… meaning that the mod requires inputs that the assigned input file doesn't have.

From the evidence above... nope. Some of the BG2's install with an additional English folder by default.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Yeah, that's not what's expected... try this, download the Windows Archive from here and extract the weidu.exe from there to the game folder and rerun the .bat file...

[WeiDU.exe] WeiDU version 23109
This is a non-stable version. Unless you're sure about what you're doing, consider downgrading.
override/SPWI414.splTB#"SPACE"oversight/backup/0/SPWI414.spl
override/spwi414.splTB#"SPACE"bg2fixpack/backup/0/spwi414.spl
override/spwi414.splTB#"SPACE"spell_rev\backup/0/spwi414.spl
override/SPWI414.SPLTB#"SPACE"rr/backup/12/SPWI414.SPL

Mods affecting SPWI414.SPL:
00000: ~SETUP-OVERSIGHT.TP2~ 0 0 // Tougher Sendai (ToB Required): 13
00001: ~BG2FIXPACK/SETUP-BG2FIXPACK.TP2~ 0 0 // BG2 Fixpack - Core Fixes: v10
00002: ~SPELL_REV/SETUP-SPELL_REV.TP2~ 0 0 // Spell Revisions: v3.1 (Hotfix 02)
00003: ~RR/SETUP-RR.TP2~ 0 12 // Shadow Thief Improvements: v4.62

And I have 4 .spl files in change-log folder now.

Make a .zip archive out of those and attach the one in your override to there as well and post the archive... someone can find out based on that ... that which mod screwed the file...

For Widescreen mod solution is:

Change these lines in BiG World Install.bat:

1620th:

ECHO %X% > BWP_widescreen_input.txt

to

ECHO %X%> BWP_widescreen_input.txt

and 1630th&1631st:

ECHO %X% >> BWP_widescreen_input.txt
ECHO Y >> BWP_widescreen_input.txt

to

ECHO %X%>> BWP_widescreen_input.txt
ECHO Y>> BWP_widescreen_input.txt
