Saw it this morning in my D3 launcher. (Has anybody has any clue how to get ~20.000.000.000 without buying game money with real money, by the way? Good stuff is terribly expensive).

I wonder, is the new Crusader tank class going to be the only new class, or will there be more?

Either by working the gold auction house (buy low, sell high), or by getting ridiculously lucky with a drop and selling it on the gold auction house to someone who buys their gold with real money. I've made around 1 billion total by working the AH, mainly because I enjoy "the Auction House simulator" for some odd reason.

I think Blizzard might introduce a new spellcaster, but definitely no more than two new classes total IMO.

I've made around the 1,2 billion by selling and buying stuff, but it's just too slow. (Had a lucky-119-mil-worth drop exactly once). I've never been to the real money Auction House, though.

I agree about not more than two classes. A new spellcaster might be interesting - I love my Wizard, but talk is they're gonna nerf perma-archon and female WD is just spooky. And has a funny accent.

I used to sell some items on the RMAH in the beginning, but it's not really that interesting. All you get [to PayPal] after Blizzard fleeces you with their taxes is spare change.

Wikia: Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

  • Raised level cap and unlimited Paragon Levels: Level up to level 70 and keep levelling with the removal of the cap of Paragon levels.
  • Loot 2.0: Lower amount of drops, but drops are more frequently usable for your class.
  • Different end-game: Introducing loot runs, a 15-20 min random dungeon to clear for loot.

I can already see the news headlines: "Diablo 3 player collapses after reaching Paragon level 3000", "Surprise: Paragon level 10.000 player is addicted to crystal meth".

As much as the Diablo series is nostalgia for me - the first two games, anyway - the third game disappointed me and I probably won't bother with this one until it's really... and I mean REALLY... cheap.

I do occasionally miss my wizard though. She was badass.

I stuck with Diablo III a lot longer than I thought I would, but I hit a wall toward the end of Inferno Act 3 and lost interest. When MP (monster power) came out, I considered giving it another chance, but I kinda got sick of the grinding. I wasn't making enough in the auction house to upgrade gear, so that was the end of that.

I'm glad they are giving some Paladin / Knight love in this new expansion by making the "Crusader" the new class.  I quit it after about a month or two after it came out...But with this new class and a good review I may just pick it up again.  Who knows...maybe this expansion will do what LOD did for D2.  Only time will tell I guess...

Given Diablo 2 is still $20, you may be waiting a while... :P

At least Diablo 2 is worth every single penny of that money. Diablo 3, not so much.
