Turns out that what messes up my game is the extraction of the files and not the installation, I let BWS extract everything and only install the first component (Ascension) and my game crashed, I don't know what it is, but the extractions to my BG folder are making my game crash?

If you manually uninstall Ascension (using its setup-exe), does the game start working?

I just completed a new bg1ee tactical install with commit e733799. Since this install 2 days ago (which agb1 is referring to just above), with the updated BWFixpack I didn't run into the issue with CMSTQ04.ITM (as expected) but also no issue with tellan.cre.

I think I know what the problem that makes my game crash, I jsut let BWS extract all of the mods before installing them and I ran Baldur's Gate and it crashed, so it's not a mod I installed, but a mod I extracted, I guess I would have to manually extract every portrait mod and such similar mods and see what makes my game crashes, and idea about what mod could possible do that would be very helpful, thanks.

Dady, you set it to "pause after extraction" and you didn't let it start installation at all (not even Fixpack), correct?.

Do you have any files in your override folder at that point?  A clean BG2EE installation has no override folder, so whatever is in there would be suspect.

I think the BUB.CRE install warning from SCS is caused by some missing ability files in Might and Guile's stalker kit, but I might be interpreting it incorrectly.  I've PM'd subtledoctor about it.

Yes, there are files (mostly they come from The Picture Standard mod, but I've had the crashes before I used this mod in my previous installation), here is a picture of my folder.

EDIT: I just removed the "override" folder from my BG2 folder and the game worked perfectly without crashing, I guess one of the mods is messing it up (I'm pretty certain it's NOT The Picture Standard because I've the had the crashes before I installed it in my previous installations) or a certain file?

If you rename the override folder temporarily, does it resolve the crashes?

Yes, I've edited my post above, but I guess you didn't see the edit.

@agb1 I have these following files in my "override" folder that are not bmp files, every other files is bmp, could they be the source to my crash?

Turns out these are the files that are messing up my game and stopping me from starting a new game, mystery finally solved, and they come from the mod "BG2EE Tweaks", "BG2EE Tweaks - Background" & "BG2EE Tweaks - Full Screen World Map"

Do you know why they make my game crash and how I can stop them from crashing my game? Because, honestly, they make the GUI look great and they add a background to my game and it looks awesome.

Nice detective work!  Unfortunately, I have no idea what a .chu file is or how to diagnose what is wrong with it.  I'm marking that mod expert for now.  We can try to contact the mod's creator about this.

I see that BG2EE GUI Tweaks is a multi-part mod.  Maybe there are some inter-dependencies.  Did you install the "core" mod (BG2EE GUI Tweaks, no - Background or - World Map)?

Thanks! I finally got to source of the problem, but I really wish that there was a fix for the mod, because it made the game look great, unfortunately it also messed up my game.

* BG2EE GUI Tweaks marked Expert due to report by dady977 that it causes the game to crash
* Reordered processing logic to delete end-marker-file before issuing command (this might solve the occasional skipping of selected components reported by some users)

Hey agb1, I just got this error in my current installation, and when I installed this component in my previous BWS installation, it didn't give me this error, although I have BG2EE Installed:

Using .\lang\en_us/dialog.tlk

SKIPPING: [Dawn of Vampirism]
This mod requires Throne of Bhaal to be installed!

D:\Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition>

This mod requires Throne of Bhaal to be installed!
Dawn of Vampirism (Mal des Vampirismus) was skipped.

I made a mistake in the Fixpack patch for that mod.  I've attached a replacement tp2 for that mod, if you want to rerun the setup-pcvamp.exe installer manually.  I also just updated the Fixpack.
