I never really got into that whole Big world thingy, being blonde doesn't help. :)

Does anyone know which version of TS works with vanilla BP or at least the most stable version.

"Being blonde is no excuse", says the somewhat-blonde author of BP. But there's really not any reason for the TS-BP version any longer--though it was quite vogue back in 2004. Mostly it had fixes (both for/not-for compatability) that are likely part of the TS mod by now. Go ahead and use TSv704--it's what Big World also uses, last I knew. If something goes funny I can re-assert that The Big World does auto-patching of many mods to fix compatability and other issues. You don't need to read a 400-page novel to use it. Just extract it, run it and let it do the work, for the most part. I don't foresee any issues with BP and TS however; you should be fine just installing side by side.

Erhm, I would label that as the wrong answer... as you answered the: Can the TSv7.04 be used with the BPv181-b4503 ? ... and your answer is actually correct. Yes, dah. And they way you gave the rest of the answer lacks the in depth acknowledgement that you need to know what's been talked about...

As the longer and more controversial question remains open... and yes, that's totally a different thing, as it depends on what else is tried to be done ? One, for example is, do you intent to install the BGT-weidu, doing so leads to different proceeds depending on the totality of mods intended to be installed for the compatibility's sake. Is it anything close to the BiG World Projects goal ? Or is it just the two individual mods(above answer), and some minor tweaks that all need to be evaluated. individually.

PS, the BiG World is not a mod and thus you can NOT just go and "install" it... it's a Project, which produces tools that help you make it happen on your computer. Which is the reason why there's not just 1 thing to download, but a Setup Tool(that downloads the mods among other functions, ps use this version), two install tools(well the BWS has one in itself), a document file(the .pdf), installation tweaking pack, fixpack... and language packs.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Wellunhappy, forgive me for trying to help; I'll refrain in the future because imps are in charge here now and all that implies. Forgive me for trying to simplify a process that was obviously meant to confuse and discourage people from its usage.

Perhaps I should also forget that I have TSv704 and BPv181 (and a few other mods) installed w/o Big World and any perceived in-game incidents, because that's obviously immaterial to the argument which was formerly a friendly inquiry.

Yes, dah.

Erhm my statement, it was not meant to be taken as hostile.
