It's incompatible because the art won't fit to the games settings.

And by the way, the mod checks for the Torment.exe's size as the very first thing, and so you won't have that in a BG2 game.

OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

A BG1, yes, luckily I know you several, as you can either;
install the BGT-weidu on the BG2:SoA+ToB full install(the BGT also requires the BG1+TotSC files as a source directory) and then use the Widescreen mod and one of the Font mods, example 1, as in there are others..
Or you can use the Widescreen mod on the BG1 install itself and then install this nice mod on top of that, in this the Widescreen mod needs a specific resolution mentioned in the linked page and installed before that GUI mod.

Or install the EasyTutu and then use the Widescreen mod on that.

Or the BG:EE, it will have it's own configuration setting for this.

PS, what else do you wish in the game? I would be delighted to help...

Well, in your case you always have the option to switch to smaller screen size. these are your options: 768x576, 960x540, 1024x576, 1280x720, 1360x768, 1600x900 + the horror 1920x1080, yes, with the Widescreen mod you can choose any your monitor can display. It's best to try and then retry by just running the setup.widescreen.exe again as you can reinstall it from there.

Hello Ghostdog, maybe there is a way to adapt your UI for BG2?

Nope. At least not an easy way. BG2 UI is very different than PST UI and it would require a huge amount of work to give it a PST "look".

Anyway, BG2 UI scales and centers very nice with the Widescreen Mode so there isn't a serious reason for any editing. If you want to try something that looks different, there's at least one pretty good BG2 UI project I know about : http://www.shsforums...file/990-w-gui/

Also Delfosse has created some nice bigger BG2 fonts : http://www.shsforums...r-baldurs-gate/

there's at least one pretty good BG2 UI project I know about :
The BGT mod carries a setup-GUI mod that allows several different gui mods according to what else you have installed. And then there's the TutuGUI mod(LadeJarl's Tutu GUI v1.8 ) that works independently from the actual mod.

Though it wouldn't be a bad thing to make a separate GUI mod that carries all this independently from each others ... similar as the existing BGT variant, but without the need to have the mods.
