I tried posting on the official EE forums, but i'm not getting any responses there so i'm guessing the problem(s) i'm having are with mods interacting in unexpected ways with either each other or EE. I'm hoping someone here can help me out or point me in the right direction.

The main problem at the moment is that I can't enter the Shadow Thieves' Guild Hall to finish Bodhi's quest. Every time i try to do this, the game crashes completely. I have some other issues but I saw that many users on the EE forums have similar problems, so i'm assuming they are documented EE bugs (they're pretty minor so i'm avoiding reading up on them to avoid massive spoilers).

This is the list of mods I had installed during most of the game:

Assassinations

Back to Brynnlaw

Banterpack

CoM encounters

DungeonCrawl

DungeonBeGone

FreeActionPnP

IePBanters

ImoenFriendship

VizoniaFriendship

SarevokFriendship

SarevokRomance

ISNF

NPCFlirt

RomanticEncounters

Sellswords

ToTDG

Wheels of Prophecy

I tried removing all mods and loading different saves, playing to the part where the game crashes on each one, to no avail. Meaning i'm completely stuck and need a way to resolve this in order to continue playing. i can attach the crashdump file if anyone can make sense of those. I guess baldur.log isn't used anymore? Or of course the save game if that works.

In any case, hope anyone knows a fix or workaround.

Thanks for reading!

PS if anyone knows how to set Dorn's dialogue path to his second quest, that'd be most appreciated as well. :)

Can't help in particular, but a general approch would be to enable logging if it can still be enabled in BG2EE (it was done in the baldur.ini, under Program Options, entry Logging On=1 in the original BG2).

Also look in the baldur.err for errors.

You should not remove mods if you want to keep your saves. You'll shoot yourself in the foot since text-references get screwed then.

Edit: Read that the line should be this:

'Program Options', 'Logging On', '1',

Note that the baldur.ini is in your documents folder (if they did not change that after BG1EE).

THINK! - It's not illegal.

Thanks for your reply, It encouraged me to double check all the active mods. :)

I've located the issue, and it looks like i forgot to re-install one of the Rogue Rebalancing components; improved Shadow Thieves. For some reason i overlooked it completely when i made my initial post.

Problem solved, thanks again.
