Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums and I am in desperate need of advice for my fresh run through of the entire Baldur's Gate series [using BGT of course], and what I need help with is the correct order to install my mods. I think they're pretty much in the right place, however I keep running into an issue when I play; the mods install fine without any issue, but when I enter Nashkel, or the area where Gorion is killed, I get a huge drop in FPS that will not stop until I leave the area. All I can think is that I screwed up the mod install order, because I know they are all compatible. Any help would be appreciated. I tried using BWS but that was way too confusing so I'm sticking to the manual install. The mods I'm using are listed below in the order which I installed them [I'm using the GOG versions of the Baldur's Gate games by the way].

  1. BG2 Fixpack
  2. Baldur’s Gate Trilogy
  3. NPC Project
  4. BG1 Unfinished Business
  5. BG2 Unfinished Business
  6. De’Arnise Romance
  7. Banter Packs
  8. IEP Extended Banters
  9. NPC Flirt Packs
  10. Romantic Encounters
  11. BG2 Tweak Pack
  12. Sword Coast Stratagems
  13. Wizard Slayer Rebalancing
  14. Holy Avenger
  15. 1PP
  16. W_GUI
  17. Widescreen Mod
  18. eSeries AI Scripts
  19. PaintBG

It would be preferable to me, that the replies would be here, instead of a multiple cross threads... just letting everyone know the direction this has goon already. And, no, I am not the only voice, but I don't want people to waste their forum times.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
