Entering Centeol's Spider nest in Cloakwood area 2 causes the game to freeze on a black screen and stop responding. Any idea what might cause this and hot to fix it? It is the first crash I have had so far so it isn't to bad I guess.

Also my web spell graphics are all screwed up. I think the Spellpack messed them up. If I go back and change it now will that corrupt the install?

Cheers for the expert advise.

You're using an outdated SCS version, which casuses CTD in Centeol's lair and few other places. Newest is v28.

Cheers Kreso. I am not very good at keeping up with updates. I will have to correct that. Can I install the update into an exisisting instal without ruining it?

No, you can't. You could theoretically uninstall everything up to and including SCS (biffing, LOLFixer, PoisonSupplement etc.), install SCSv28 and the again BP, Volcano etc. but that won't help you with your Web graphics (it's Spellpack, which is relatively early in install order).

My suggestion would be to download the latest Big World and build from there, the version you're using has a sightly messed up install order (no spells, abilities or items should be installed after SCS, apart those of aTweaks).

Also, from my experience, avoid using all of Spellpack changes. I'd do a minimal Spellpack install (Holy Smite, Unholy Blight, Malison, Slow, Confusion/Chaos, and similar) and would definitily vote against PFMW, ADHW, Domination and Blade Barrier - AI doesn't make adjustments for these spells.
