Unfortunately the SHSforums file corruption reporting is a little too much on the pro-reporters side... it's likely not corrupted. Just try it and you'll know this.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Hi Imp. OP here. Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I did try downloading it, exported all the files to my BGII directory, but when I run the setup-1pp.exe, I get this message

ERROR: Sys_error<“1pp/install/101_bas.tph: No such file or directory”>

Any idea what I should do about it?

Where did you install the game to ? It's that or a fact that the the archive structured disseminates the files wrongly if you have the "use no folder structure" option in the archive extraction tool enabled, which should be unlikely but possible... or something yet unseen...

I downloaded this file today, and when I tried to extract it (using both 7-zip and WinRAR) I got messages saying the file archive was corrupt. What the hell? Has this file seriously been corrupt since March (when the other guest posted about it)? Why has nothing been done to resolve this issue? Dissapointing to say the least, as this was a 160+ MB download. Even more dissapointing in the sense that my BGT installation is now on hold until I can find a working version of this damn file.

FIX THIS!

I just downloaded the archive and extracted it. It's fine. (And with downloads numbering in the hundreds of thousands, there would likely be more than 2 people complaining if it was actually a bad archive). Here's an MD5 sum you want to compare: 2768633dbf07294ae495826201ebf9a3 It's likely just a flaky connection between sender and recipient.

I've downloaded this file 2 more times using different browsers and it has been un-extractable due to corruption each time. Here is the MD5 sum I got for the un-extracted archive: fd75a406d45e994ac1d014fd79131c0b

Are there any mirrors availible for this file? This is the first time I've ever had any problem extracting something I've downloaded on this site. I'm not sure if this helps, but for some reasons my downloads here take forever to start. I have to wait at least a minute after clicking "Download" before the "save file" prompt appears.

Well that would say that there's something in your computer that changes the result of the download, a virus or an Anti-virus or the like, turn it off.

Hi there Imp,

So I decided to try downloading this file on another computer at my local library. Previously, all download attempts were made from my home network and computer, so I figured that downloading it on a completely different network/computer would solve the issue. I was wrong: I am still unable to extract the file, which appears to still be corrupted. The fact that I have been able to duplicate this not only on two different computers but also two different networks is troubling.

Any ideas? I'm getting a bit desperate at this point; if there are no mirrors or fixes to this issue then I'm just going to have to play BGT without 1pp... :crying:

I can confirm that something is off with the 1PP download or the download manager of the forum in general. I have downloaded it twice in Firefox which resulted in two files of different size. I could unpack both of them fine though. On closer examination I have noticed that one archive had been extended by the following sql error message in html format:

Hi Argent77,

It's good to see that I'm not the only one with issues here. This problem seems to be very real, and appears to only affect certain networks/computers. This file has been reported corrupt by multiple people, and I seriously doubt these people were going through all the trouble to report it for no reason. The obvious solution here is a mirror: it would save the few who do run into this problem the trouble of having to start a thread and try to convince people that this issue exists.

I have downloaded other files from this website, and was able to extract these fine (no corruption, missing data, etc.). I have also downloaded countless other modifications/files from other websites/servers, and have rarely (if ever) run into this issue: seriously, I can't even remember the last time a downloaded file on my computer turned out to be corrupt.

The fact that other files have worked for me on this website with no issues really suggests the issue lies with the SHS server, and not my computer. If my computer was really communicating poorly/improperly with the SHS server due to some issue with anti-virus (as Imp suggested above), then I would have expected the other files I downloaded here to be corrupt as well. But that was not the case.

I've done all I reasonably can to obtain this file; I'm not really sure what to do next. It's staggaring to me that a mod of this calibre has no mirrors and is not hosted on any other sites for download: I have searched the web multiple times and have been unable to find a single website (save this one) that offers this mod. If someone (site staff, the modder, etc.) could provide a mirror for this file, I would be eternally greatful. Until then, it appears that there will be no 1pp for me...

Well, here you go, unofficial download location.

PS, if that work, then the problem is between you and the SHS download center, not the file, and the linked archive was downloaded yesterday from the official download, with Firefox 34.0.5, the file needs either up to date 7-zip or WinRAR(mine is 5.11 beta 1 for 64-bit, and it extracts the files OK).

Imp, if I could hug you I would. I'd also give you cookies.

The mirror you provided worked perfectly, and the file was not corrupted! You sir, have made my day!
