Hello,

 

I've read up on a lot of guides but none answer my current problem.

 

I've let the big world setup do the batch install overnight for the standard mod pack (classic bg).

Now when i checked this morning my pc had restarted...

 

Does that happen automatically at some point?

I've read it prompts up a question to restart yes or no.

 

Should I just restart a clean install?

Is there a way to tell to which point the setup has installed or can i just continue?

 

I'm asking to save myself a lot of time and frustration, hope you can understand.

Batch = Black cmd-window?
If you did not change the codepage and infinity animation gets installed, it will do that for you -- if I'm not totally mistaken.
Look at your weidu.log and see what's installed.
You could edit the BiG World Install.bat to install from a certain point onward...
