I've got an issue with Saemon Havarian. After having retrieved the horn, he is not inside the tavern. Does anyone know what could have happened and how do I troubleshoot the problem ?

Edit:  this link seems somewhat interesting.

So did you follow the first response ?

Spoiler

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Yes,  waiting for the night did nothing ...

By the way, the imp , do you know if this scroll comes from a quest?

Thanks Mic. I've got an issue, and a very bad one. My cursor in ToB started blinking, and the game thinks that I'm in dialogue mode while I'm not. Also most of my npc seem affected by the stutter bug. Tips ?

Well hard to say without seeing but maybe one of NPCs tries to initiate dialog. Never heard blinking cursor though.

Can party move, usually dialog initiating NPC stops and turns to targets direction.

Where this happens? Area script-file might give some clue if it isn't dialogue problem.

I was wrong earlier, Imp knows everything.

He's just very busy. He has been finalizing this past 10 months, working nights and days 24/7 without a breaks. You know, Imps are immortal and don't need drink, food or rest, practically nothing, they just keep modding. :P

So do as Imp says. :D

Well, I've discovered what was the problem. Some npc mods are too old to be used with BP ascension. And the fact that bp ascension installs after them is a problem more than once.

I had problems with Sarevok, Xan, Ajantis, and now with Angelo.
The truth is that as soon as I reach Yagashura camp, and Angelo does his usual banter, Sarevok would comment with a banter he is supposed to say to Amelyssan during the final fight. So you can guess what happens. The game starts lagging + stuttering badly. All I had to do was just killing sarevok and let him be dead when reaching yagashura's camp

there is a list of mods here? And anyway, I've thought the instructions inside the guide. They didn't help . :(

Edit: do any of you know how can I force the sendai cutscene? I need her to be hostile. Wheels of prophecy v3 is pretty fucked up, I don't even know why it was added to BWS. Wheels of prophecy v2 worked thousand times better.

Edit 2: It would be also okay for the portal to appear and the game to acknowledge she is dead even if she isn't.

Well that explains why i never had this problem.

I never use Sarevok or Ajantis. I dump Angelo after Suu encounter at Saradush and use Xan only at Amkethran for his quest.

Female romance NPCs don't have any problems.

in Wheels of prophecy, right after killing Abazigal, I went to Balthazar and we both killed Melissan. Then the village was attacked, but before that, Wheels of prophecy was supposed to show me a cutscene of Sendai and Melissan talking to each other.
And that's exactly what wrong happened.

Now I'm in fornt of Sendai and she keeps babbling a dialogue about Melissan that needs to speed up Bhaal resurrection. So I was asking for a workaround. Does anyone of you know how can I force the game to think Sendai is dead, so the portal will open and together with it, the game flow would continue normally?

Or better yet, a way to make Sendai tell her usual words - I was waiting for you - then see her spawn the statue and murder them all

there is a list of mods here? And anyway, I've thought the instructions inside the guide. They didn't help . :(

Well, if you want to go to specifics on why the NPCs stutter, all you need this:

23.1 The yet other is to play the game as far as humanly possible can with the growing stutter/lag/slowdown until you can't take it anymore, and make more than one save along the way, then install the LStest mod from the Answer #12 of this thread, use NearInfinity to export the script source of the .bcs's that are reported by the dialog window the most frequently, and report us what it gives and upload the exported .baf files as they are easier to read, and someone should be able to help you then. Then you can uninstall the LStest mod, copy the fixed .bcs file to the 'override' folder if someone is able to help you, and then you get to play the game once more. If you do not have a NearInfinity, then follow the Answer #11 in this post.
23.1.1 Or you can go here and use the tools provided there to make better tests, at least for one's own mods.

It will partially break your game a bit, as the game can't launch the in game cinematic scripts(because the Clear All Actions can't be declared ), but it will definitely tell you which script is running during the time the NPC decides to *blink* "I forgot my orders", or *blink*,"I'll decide out of randomness to do this instead" as the Player character will then tell in the dialog box which script ran and which block. It's debugging tool.

You just then go and correct the scripting(with NearInfinity or DLTCEP), or you ask from others on how to fix it, with the script file opened on the block that causes lagging.

So it's not a list of mods. I am practically baffled on how the cheese you came to that conclusion actually.

Well that explains why i'm lost with Sendai cutscene.

After Amkethran i always kill Sendai first, then Abazigal. Then i see Balthazar and Melissan cutscene. Then i kill Balthazar and then finish game with Melissan (and Five) at Throne of Bhaal. No problems in that way.

Have you got any cluaconsole available so I can fiddle around a bit? Or else, I will just restart from beginning.

I'm not sure.

But try this.

Set global "SendaiCutScene1"to 0 and then re-enter Sendai's Lair (AR6108.ARE).

ok I shall. you know what's the problem ? the onyl way to end the game with wheels of prophecy v3 is killing balthazar first, then sendai then abazigal (those two in the order you like).

Also another thing I noticed is that I never get custom npc ending. I'm starting to blame ascension and WOP

oh and the last thing. Does any of you know where can I find the epilogues of every npc mod? I'm always able to find the dialogues, but never the epilogues.

Well i haven't had any problems with Wheels but i probably haven't ever get all content of mod. I always kill Sendai first, then Abazilgal and finally Balthazar.

how is it that you seem to never experience many bugs, although my weidu.log is 1\4 compared to yours?

Well, I could not see the ending of
1) Kivan 2) Ajantis 3) Angelo 4) Dace

They didn't even talk in the final solar exchange :| - is there a way to force npc dialogues? XD

More mods less bugs. :P

Never seen or tried any male endings (i have only females in party at end). But i have probably seen all female endings that i have played so far.

Don't know anything about force dialogues too technical for me. Sorry.

Well back to RoT and Ice Temple.
