Halrua troubles

Hi again, started up the Halrua quest, because I want to get rid of Hrotghar as quickly as possible after the problems he caused with Yoshimo and Kachiko.

Main issue is that I can't go up to the gallery because there's some sequence triggered where 2 mages (VonRay and Bliar I think) talk, then teleport away but it stays in sequence mode meaning I have to CTRL ALT DEL out of it. I found out that this is where Owain is to be found so I used Shadowkeeper to get that final Ring of Might (and dropped off 5000 gold).

Since I couldn't find Garron (apparently in the elemental quarter which I found out today, was without internet) and I just want to get out of here I CLUAd him into the servers, defeated him, however Sebastian and crew didn't appear, so I CLUAd them in too. They gave their talk, dropped the letters, I proceeded south, solved the riddle, got the leveler and as I walk out nobody attacks me, probably because VonRay is busy standing in the gallery. The wizard guard doesn't attack me either and there is no portal out.

 

At this point I'm just looking for an easy way out. Preferably not MoveToArea, but I'd be happy to just settle things with a quick GlobalVariable change.

Hi!

 

During my BWP installs i have encounterered 3 hanging cutscenes in NEJ (all versions 6.02, 6.8 and 6.94 have them).

 

1) First one (VPCUTT11.BCS) is when i talk to Xan (TT0069.ARE) for the reward for completing Xan's Enchantment Test.

2) Second one (VPCUTT20.BCS) is same area (TT0069.ARE). I'm asking Phineas for reward completing Phineas' Abjuration Test.

3) Third one (VPCUTT23.BCS) is when i enter area (TT0068.ARE). It's RayVon & Ayana cutscene.

 

To fix hanging cutscene with RayVon and Ayana download VPCUTT23.BCS here and put it into override folder (if old one exists rename it just in case). Reload game before entering gallery and re-enter gallery.

Awesome, I'll try it out, I sure hope I have some save from before I went into the CreateCreature business.
